Het lichaam, het denken en het bewustzijn zijn in voortdurende interactie met de omgeving. Werken met Ayurveda betekent dat je al deze verschillende lagen en hun onderling verband in aanmerking neemt.

Abhyangam

Ayurvedische lichaamsmassage

The word Abhyangam means “everywhere”. Abhyangam can increase the production of white blood corpuscles and antibodies, which provide more resistance against viruses and diseases. This helps the defense mechanism in the body and increases immunity towards environmental changes. In this way Abhyangam massage is a protector, preserver and a rejuvenator, increasing self-confidence and will power, so it can be used therapeutically. Special herb infused Ayurvedic oils are slowly warmed up and gently massaged into the skin. The massage is deeply relaxing, harmonizing, detoxifying, strengthening and revitalizing for the entire body.

Ayurveda-yogin abhyangam

Ayurvedic Yoga massage is a unique style of bodywork that combines deep tissue massage with breathwork and Yoga stretching. The deep tissue massage soothes and nourishes the musculature, soft tissues of the body, releases tensions and prepares the receiver for assisted Yoga stretching. Through synchronized breathwork the receiver is led progressively deeper into assisted Yoga postures that help correct postural imbalance and restore harmony to the body. Herbal oils are utilized during the treatment for their healing properties. Garbhayangam

Pindasweda

Midiabhyangam

Whole body massage performed with the feet.

This Ayurveda massage relieves the body from aches and muscular pains and provides physical relaxation and rejuvenation. It is given to increase a person's body flexibility and physical endurance, is particularly efficacious for those who practice very dynamic yoga styles, martial arts and dance forms. It gives flexibility and suppleness to the body. This form of massage is combined with different yoga postures.

Udgarshana

Whole body massage using oil and herbal powders. 

Treatment to remove impurities from the skin and give new life and elasticity to tissues. It is done with special herbal powders applied on the whole body and then rubbed on the body to remove dead skin cells. It is a very effective treatment to remove excess of fat and stagnation.

Annuleringsvoorwaarden

Het annuleren van je afspraak kan kosteloos tot 24 uur voor de begin tijd van de afspraak. De afspraak wordt volledig in rekening gebracht bij annulering binnen deze 24 uur. Wees op tijd, we moeten de afspraak annuleren wanneer je meer dan 10 minuten te laat komt omdat wij de kwaliteit en werking van de behandelingen dan niet meer kunnen garanderen.

Amanda Dries

Ayurveda

Amanda is from Wales in the UK. She worked for many years in sales, then as a purser for two main airlines, experiencing different cultures. After meeting her Dutch husband she moved to Holland and had three children. Over the last 14 years, she has taken on various studies for health. From 2010-2015 she studied at the Academy of Ayurvedic Studies to become an Ayurvedic practitioner.

Victoria (Tory) Raven Hyndman

Hatha, Vinyasa, Yoga Basics, Pranayama, Restorative, Ayurveda

In a light-spirited manner yet sticking to the authentic teachings of yoga, Victoria uses the wisdom of Ayurveda in her yoga classes for students to experience spiritual access through physical practice.

Eva Ugolini

Astanga Led, Astanga Mysore

Eva’s passion for Yoga and Ayurveda started almost 15 years ago whilst taking a course in Ayurveda-Yoga massage in Rome, her hometown.

Wendy Wanner

Yin, Prenatal Yoga

At first combining her calling with a hectic job in communications, Wendy has worked as a massage therapist and yoga teacher for 6 years now.

Ombretta Dettori

Astanga Led, Prenatal Yoga, Ayurveda, Astanga Mysore (Beginners)

Ombretta is an Ayurveda Practitioner (Academy of Ayurvedic Studies) specialised in women's health, pregnancy and postpartum (Arya Ayurveda, India) and experienced in Pancakarma procedures (Yojana Ayurveda). She is also a Birth Doula (BIA Doula, Amsterdam) and an Ayurveda Postpartum Caregiver (Centre for Sacred Window Studies, California), an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher (200hrs YTT, Gregor Mahele and Monica Gauci)

Riim Lagerwerf-van den Berg

Riim has explored and practised different forms of Hatha Yoga since 2010 but keeps coming back to the dynamic practice of Astanga Yoga in combination with restorative practices. She loves introducing students to the practice of Astanga yoga and meditation but also enjoys very much teaching Vinyasa classes and Yin Yang and more restorative Yoga classes.
